Five COVID-19 patients died in Nigeria today, as the country records 313 new cases of the virus.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said 69 patients were also discharged today after recovering from the disease.
Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 148 new infections.
Nigeria currently has 7,839 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 2,263 recoveries and 226 fatalities.
