The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) today confirmed 216 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
The daily update by the centre shows that nine fatalities were also recorded today.
Lagos and Oyo states recorded the highest number of new cases with 74 and 33 respectively.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 6,175, with 1,644 recoveries and 191 deaths.
