This came as the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State announced the discharge of seven patients from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, bringing the total number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in the state to 46.
NCDC said in a tweet that eight of the new cases are eight in Lagos; three in Katsina; two in the federal capital territory (FCT); and one each in Niger, Kaduna, Anambra and Ondo.
The agency added, “As of 9:30pm on April 10, there were 305 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria and while 58 have been discharged, seven have died.”
Sanwo-Olu announced the latest recoveries from the virus in a series of tweets via his verified handle, @jidesanwoolu.
