NCDC said in a tweet that eight of the new cases are eight in Lagos; three in Katsina; two in the federal capital territory (FCT); and one each in Niger, Kaduna, Anambra and Ondo.

The agency added, “As of 9:30pm on April 10, there were 305 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria and while 58 have been discharged, seven have died.”

Sanwo-Olu announced the latest recoveries from the virus in a series of tweets via his verified handle, @jidesanwoolu.

The governor tweeted, “Dear Lagosians. I bring you more good news from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. Today, 7 more patients; 3 females and 4 males were discharged to reconnect with the community after a full recovery and having tested negative twice consecutively for #COVID19.

“This brings to 46, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our Yaba facility.

“So far, we have had 100 percent recovery from the #COVID19 cases we have admitted and managed at our isolation facilities.”
