Nigeria Records 1,664 COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 1,664 new COVID-19 cases in the country yesterday.

The new infections were recorded across 22 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

Nigeria’s total number of confirmed cases has now exceeded 94,000.

Five persons were also confirmed to have died of COVID-19 complications yesterday, raising the current fatality toll to 1,324.

Lagos State continued to report the highest number of new cases with 642, followed by the FCT with 407.
