Nigeria Records 15 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, as Cases Surpass 30,000

Nigeria has recorded 15 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, as confirmed number of infections in the country rose to 30,249, including 460 new cases recorded yesterday.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said in its daily update that a total of 22,373 persons have now recovered from the disease across the country, while 684 have died.

Lagos State recorded the highest number of new infections yesterday with 150 cases, followed by Rivers and Oyo with 49 and 43 respectively.
