Nigeria Inches Closer to 5,000 COVID-19 Cases, as NCDC Confirms 184 New Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 184 new COVID-19 cases in 21 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 4,971.

The NCDC in its daily update via its Twitter handle yesterday night, also confirmed six fresh COVID-19 related deaths.

It also announced 111 recoveries, bringing the total number of patients who have recovered from the disease to 1,070.
