Nigeria Discharges 1,689 COVID-19 Patients

Update by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), yesterday, showed that additional 1,689 COVID-19 patients have been discharged.

The recoveries included 1,325 patients who were being managed at home in Lagos State.

Also yesterday, 329 new COVID-19 cases and seven related fatalities were recorded in the country.

Lagos State had the highest number of new infections yesterday with 113 cases, followed by Kaduna State and the federal capital territory with 49 and 33 cases respectively.

Total confirmed cases in the country now stands at 48,445; with 35,998 discharges and 973 fatalities.
