Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Surpass 49,000

298 new COVID-19 cases and one death were recorded in Nigeria today.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 49,068 cases have now been confirmed in the country.

Out of this number, 36,497 cases have been discharged and 975 deaths have been recorded.

Plateau State has the highest number of new infections with 108 cases, followed by Kaduna with 49 and Lagos with 47.
