Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Rise to 44,129 with 288 New Infections

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 288 new COVID-19 infections in the country, bringing the total number of cases to 44,129.

The NCDC made this known via its official twitter handle yesterday.

The agency said that eight new deaths were reported, bringing the total number of fatalities to 896 across the country. 

It further disclosed that Lagos topped the list with 88 new cases, while the FCT reported 25 fresh infections.

According to it, till date, 44,129 cases have been confirmed, out of which 20,663 have been discharged in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
