Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Reach 30,748, with 689 Deaths

Total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country rose to 30,748 today, with the annoucement of 499 new infections by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The centre also disclosed that total COVID-19 related fatalities have risen to 689, including five in the last 24 hours.

It said a total of 12,546 persons have however recovered from the disease across the country.

Lagos, as usual, recorded the highest number of new infections today with 157 confirmed cases, followed by Edo and Ondo with 59 and 56 respectively.
