Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Exceed 24,000, as NCDC Confirms 779 New Infections

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country rose to 24,077 today, after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 779 new infections.

Four COVID-19 related deaths were also recorded in the country in the last 24 hours.

According figures released by the NCDC, Lagos State topped the list of new infections with 285 cases.

The figures also show that a total of 8,625 persons have recovered from the virus, while 558 have died.
