Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Exceed 22,000, as Lagos, Oyo Maintain Lead in New Infections

Nigeria confirmed COVID-19 cases rose to 22,020 today with the annoucement of 649 new infections by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Lagos and Oyo States continue to lead in the number of new infections with 250 and 100 cases respectively.

Nine confirmed COVID-19 related deaths were also recorded in the last 24 hours.

According to the NCDC, a total of 7,613 persons have recovered from the disease, while 542 have died.
