Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Exceed 19,000, as NCDC Confirms 667 New Infections

Nigeria recorded 667 new COVID-19 infections today, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 19,147.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) also annouced 12 COVID-19 related deaths today.

Lagos State recorded 228 of the new cases, followed by Abia and Oyo with 48 and 40 cases respectively.

The centre said a total of 6,581 patients have recovered from the disease, while 487 have died.
