NDLEA Uncovers 13 Million Tramadol Tablets Stored in Lagos Mansion, Arrests Billionaire Suspect

According Femi Babafemi, spokesman for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), operatives of the agency confiscated over 13 million pills of 225mg of Tramadol during an early morning raid on the premises located in the highbrow Victoria Garden City, Lekki, Lagos State.

Babafemi gave puts the monetary value of the recovered drugs at N8.86 billion.

He added that a suspected “billionaire drug baron,” Ugochukwu Nsofor Chukwukadibia, who has been on the agency’s watch list for some time, has been arrested in connection with the drug haul.
