Nigeria has recorded 265 fresh COVID-19 cases, bringing the total in the country to 7,526.
The country also recorded zero deaths and 167 recoveries.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), half of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State, which remains the epicentre of the disease.
The agency said in its daily Twitter update that a total of 2,174 persons have recovered from disease, while 221 have died.
