The final burial ceremony of Madam Modupe Olatoye Asagidigbi, mother of Pastor Olagoke Olatoye, a Deputy Editor-in-Chief with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Lagos Operations, was held between December 18 and 20.
The burial programmes began with a Service of Song on December 18 at her residence adjacent to Alhaji Raheem Alesinloye House, Imadin, Ilaje, Ilesa and Christian wake on December 19 at the same place.
Also, the funeral service will hold on December 20, 2019, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Church, Omoofe, Ilesa, Osun State.
Madam Olatoye Asagidigbi died on September 28 during a brief illness. She was 88.
The deceased, a devout Christian, was popularly known as “Mama Elepo and Mama Alufa” in her lifetime.
She is survived by children, grand-children and great-grandchildren, including Ven. Timothy Olakunle Olatoye, Pastor Oluwafemi Olatoye, Pastor Olagoke Olatoye of NAN, Kehinde Olatoye, Evangelist Idowu Olatoye and Mrs Mobolaji Ola-MAK.
