A member of the Lipede Royal family in Abeokuta and Senior Commercial Advisor at Lekoil Limited is dead.
Prince Adedoyin Lipede, who was a player in various aspects of the upstream petroleum industry in Nigeria and the United States of America for over 35 years, died in the early hours of June 4, at his River Valley Estate residence in Lagos.
NewsmakersNG learnt that he was in his early 60s.
He had worked with Retiree Associates and served as Commercial Manager, as well as Production Advisor at ExxonMobil Gas and Power Marketing.
He was also a Commercial and Planning Manager at Mobil Producing Nigeria and a co-founder at DatoGeologia Limited (DGL).
After obtaining his HSc in Geology, Physics and Chemistry from the Polytechnic Ibadan, the late Prince Lipede bagged a BSc in Geology from the University of Ibadan. He also studied Influencing and Negotiating at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
He had his secondary school education at Comprehensive High School, Aiyetoro.
