Road users are seeking the urgent attention of Federal authorities as traffic stood still for hours today at the Sagamu end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The story was the same yesterday as commuters spent more than five hours in the traffic.
Distressed calls were made and many affected road users circulated messages today on social media platforms in a bid to draw attention to their plight.
One of the messages reads: “Lagos – Ibadan Gridlock!
Please broadcast until the authorities of FRSC come over to Sagamu – Lagos end of the Expressway.
Traffic has been at a standstill for the past 2 hrs!!
We need help so that commuters are not exposed to hoodlums . It is 8:10 pm now!
Pls help!”
