Modele Sarafa-Yusuf: How I Escaped Being Assaulted by Ogun Gov’s Aide at APC Meeting

Former broadcaster and an All Progressives Congress gubernatorial aspirant in Ogun State, Mrs Modele Sarafa-Yusuf, has claimed that she narrowly escaped being assaulted by an aide to Governor Dapo Abiodun, today.

Sarafa-Yusuf said in tweet said the incident happened during an APC stakeholders’ meeting at the Government House in Abeokuta, the state capital.

She identified the person who attempted to assault her as the Special Adviser to the governor on political matters, Biyi Adeleye.

She claimed it took the intervention of the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, to stop Adeleye from physically assaulting her.

She, however, didn’t disclose what led to the ugly incident.

She wrote, “An Ogun State APC Stakeholders meeting was held today but I was advised by my security team to leave after the S. A. to the governor on political matters, Biyi Adeleye verbally assaulted me (using unprintable swear words)!

“Many thanks to the SSG, Mr Tokunbo Talabi who prevented Adeleye from physically assaulting me. And thanks to the bystander who sent me this video of the sorry encounter. I thought we were all stakeholders in the party!”
