Masari Orders Closure of Katsina Boarding Schools after Gunmen Abducted 300 Students

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State has ordered the immediate closure of all boarding secondary schools in the state.

The order follows the abduction of about 300 students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara by bandits who invaded the school in the early hours of today.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the governor could not hold back his tears when he visited the school this morning.

He later met with the school officials, parents, traditional and religious leaders as well as security officials.
