Man Nabbed with 7 Human Heads in Ogun

Segun Atanda/

A suspected ritual killer was caught with seven human heads at the Mowe, Ogun State on Thursday evening.

Eyewitnesses said the suspect, who was carrying a sack, had attempted to charter an empty commuter bus from the area.

According them, he approached the driver of the 18-seater bus immediately after all his passengers had disembarked and asked how much it would cost to convey only him to Lagos.

This request made the driver suspicious and therefore insisted on first checking the content of the sack he carried.

The suspects claimed the sack contained used clothes and attempted to walk away from the spot, feigning irritation.

The driver however stopped him and sought the help other people around to overpower him.

The suspect was reportedly saved from being lynched by policemen from the nearby Mowe Police Station.

Spokesman for the police in the state, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, could not be reached for confirmation as of press time.
