Leaked Document Shows Incredible Pact between Miyetti Allah and Ex-Akwa Ibom APC Governorship Candidate

A leaked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has exposed an alleged secret pact between the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria and the 2019 APC governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom State, Mr Nsima Ekere, while he was seeking power.

The MoU signed by Ekere who was the MD of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), the National Secretary of Miyetti Allah, Baba Ngelzarma, and its National President, Alhaji Muhammadu Kirowa, reads in full: “This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) made this 15^th Day of January. 2019; between the Govemorshlp Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa lbom State, Mr.Nsima Ekere (hereinafter refers to as The Candidate), which expression shall include his agents, assigns and successors in title {on one hand) and the Mlyerti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (Hereinafter refer to as Mlyetti Allah) which expression shall include his party, agents, assigns and successors in title (on the other).

WHEREAS:

The Candidate approached Mlyetti Allah for support in his bid to become the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, South South Nigeria.

Miyetti Allah has agreed to give total support to the The Candidate to realize his governorship ambition.

IT IS THEREFORE  COVENANT BETWEEN THE CANDIDATE AND MIYETTI

ALLAH AS FOLLOWS:

1. Miyetti Allah shall make financial contribution of N3.8billion (Three Billion, Eight Hundred Million Naira only ) to The Candidate,
2. Mlyetti Allah shall mobilise Its members in Akwa Ibom and neighbouring States to attend campaign rallies of The Candidate and vote for The Candidate on the 2nd day of March 2019.
3. Miyetti Allah shall use its networks, especially with the Presidency and security agencies to support The Candidate.

4. Within the first THREE MONTHS of assumption of office, The Candidate shall cause the State House of Assembly to legislate on establishment of Cattle Colonies in Akwa lbom State.

5. That The Candidate shall not for any reason or whatsoever  ban open grazing in Akwa lbom State.

6. That Cattle Colonies shall be established in all the 31 Local Government Areas in Akwa lbom State.

7. That Mlyettl Allah shall have the sole responsibility of appointing SARKIN FULANI (Fulani Heads) for the Cattle Colonies and the Sarkin Fulani shall have the same status as Traditional Rulers (Edidem).

8. That In the event of dispute, parties to this MoU shall abide with result of arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In Witness Whereof; Parties to this MoU have caused their respective signatures to be hereunto affixed on the date first above mentioned.
