Lagos State again saw an increase in its daily COVID-19 tally as new confirmed cases rose from the 131 recorded yesterday to 199 today.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) also confirmed 284 new COVID-19 cases in the country today.
According to its daily Twitter update, 106 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged today, while eight deaths were also recorded.
It gave the total number of confirmed cases in the country till date as 6,677, with 1,840 recoveries and 200 deaths.
