Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello, will deliver the 2017 Distinguished Lecture of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators, Lagos State University Chapter (ANUPA-LASU).
The occasion, which marks the 4th edition of the association’s distinguished lecture series and awards, will hold at the main auditorium of the university, on July 4.
The topic of the lecture is: ‘LASU Administration: The Challenge of Town and Gown Partnership in Lagos.’
The event will be chaired by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs) Idiat Adebule, while the vice chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, is the chief host.
The institution’s public relations officer, Mr. Ademola Adekoya, in statement, said other personalities that will be honoured at the occasion include, the Elugushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Oluwatoyin Suarau and Hon. Sunny Ajose (OON), among others.
He said the association holds the event annually as “part of its strategic roadmap for the development of its members”.
