The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) toady announced 288 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
More than half of the new infections are in Lagos State with 121 more cases than the 58 it recorded yesterday.
According to NCDC daily Twitter update, the total number of COVID-19 infections in the country now stands at 5445.
It added that 1320 have recovered from the disease, while 171 have died.
