The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 195 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, bringing the total to 1532.
In its daily update on Twitter, yesterday, the agency said 80 of the cases were recorded in Lagos State, 38 in Kano State, 15 in each of Ogun and Bauchi States.
Eleven other states also reported cases, including Nasarawa State which recorded its first case.
The agency added that 225 patients had been discharged while 44 had died.
