The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) yesterday announced 86 new confirmed COVID-19 infections with Lagos State recording 70 while Jigawa State also registered its first case.
NCDC said in a tweet that seven of the cases are in the federal capital territory, three in Katsina and Akwa Ibom and one each in Bauchi and Borno.
It also disclosed that the number of fatalities now stands at 21.
