The Lagos State Police Command has reinforced its commitment to tackling domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual offenses with a renewed focus on the Family Support Unit (FSU).

The specialized division, dedicated to handling sensitive family-related cases, provides a confidential and secure space for survivors to report incidents, receive professional support, and seek justice.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Olohundare Jimoh emphasized the command’s zero-tolerance policy on domestic, sexual, and gender-based violence, assuring the public of swift and effective responses to all reported cases.

The FSU, staffed by specially trained officers, is equipped to handle these cases with the care and professionalism they require.

As part of efforts to enhance accessibility, the police command has released a comprehensive list of contact numbers for FSU heads across Lagos State. This move aims to ensure that victims and concerned citizens can easily reach out for help, report incidents, and access legal and psychological support services.

Lagos State police spokesman, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin encouraged residents to utilize these helplines to report abuse and seek assistance, as the Lagos State Police Command continues its unwavering fight against domestic and gender-based violence in the state.
