Five suspects have been held by the police in Lagos for cloning bank customers’ pin numbers.
They were paraded today alongside three suspected kidnappers and two men arrested for changing the manufacturing dates on tyres and chassis numbers on vehicles in the state.
The Commissioner of Police (CP), Fatai Owoseni, told reporters at the parade that the three suspected kidnappers were arrested at the Agbowa axis of Ikorodu by his Anti-kidnapping Team.
According to him, five suspected robbers who specialized in cloning of bank customers pin numbers were arrested at the Festac area of the state.
He added that the police found that the suspects spy on their victims before cloning their pin.
“The suspects will face the full wrath of the law,” Owoseni said, adding that his men had impounded the fake tyres from those who were altering the manufacturing dates on them.
