Lagos-based cosmetic surgeon, Dr Adepoju Anuoluwapo, popularly known as Dr Anu, has been arraigned before a Federal High Court in Ikoyi by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).

Among other alleged offences, the FCCPC is accusing the surgeon, who operates MedContour Services Ltd, of causing the death of one, Mrs. Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo, following a failed cosmetic surgery.

She also allegedly failed to comply with a summons by the FCCPC.

Her arraignment followed her arrest on Wednesday by operatives of the agency.
