Lagos Approves New Entry Point for Engineers in Public Service

Ololade Adeyanju/

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved a new entry point for engineers in the public service.

This is in line with his administration’s commitment to the seamless career progression of public servants in the state.

A statement signed by the State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, noted that the new entry point for engineers is now Grade Level 09.

They will subsequently advance to Grade Level 10 after successful completion of the mandatory two years probation period.

The statement, however, maintained that the directive which takes immediate effect is not retrospective.
