Renowned public relations officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Samuel Ekpedeme King, is dead.
King, who had served as Comptroller at Anambra and Lagos Command among other formations, retired in 2020. He promoted the image of the service for the better part of his career and was loved by the public and the media.
NewsmakersNG learned that he died during a brief illness.
Members of the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria in a swift reaction today say that the multiple-award-winning officer would be sorely missed.
