The police in Ogun have launched a manhunt for kidnappers who abducted two teachers and three students at the Nigerian-Turkish International College (NTIC), on the outskirts of the state.
The state police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the report. He told Newsmakers: “We have been all out in search of the kidnappers. The number of victims we are working on now is five – two teachers and three students.”
Another officer, however, said the number of victims could be higher.

According to him, the victims were kidnapped at gun point on the school premises.
Listed as one of the most expensive private schools in Nigeria, the NTIC has 17 branches in six states in the country.
The Ogun State chapter of the school at Isheri, just off the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, near the long bridge, was established in 2005.
