Dr Kabir Tijjani, the Medical Director of General Hospital, Mani, Katsina State, has died of COVID-19.
NewsmakersNG learnt that Tijjani died today at the state’s isolation centre.
He reportedly tested positive for the virus last week.
He has been buried in accordance with Islamic injunctions.
Katsina has more than 200 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
