Juliana Francis Bags Triple Awards at NMMA

Three awards were swept yesterday by seasoned crime reporter, Juliana Francis, at the Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA) held at the Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.

Juliana, a multiple-awards winning journalist who is the Crime Editor at New Telegraph Newspapers, received five nominations including Female Reporter and Insurance Reporter of the Year, but clinched three trophies.

She emerged as Defense Reporter, Power Reporter, and Human Rights Reporter of the Year.  

She was also the first runner-up in the Lagos report category at the recently held Diamond Awards for Media Excellence (DAME).

A University of Ilorin graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Literature in English, Juliana had also won the 2014 overall prize of the Wole Soyinka Award for Investigative Reporting among several other awards.
