Three operational vehicles have been donated to the Nigeria Police by Innoson Motors as part of efforts in fighting insecurity in the country.
The vehicles are Innoson G12 Series consisting of the Single Cabin Pickup Truck MSII, and the SUV MSIII painted in Nigeria Police camouflage.
Delivering the vehicles on behalf of the Chairman/ Chief Executive, Innoson Manufacturing Company, Dr Innocent Chukwuma, to the police at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, a director in the company, Jonas Ojukwu said the vehicles would serve as a troop carrier for operational purposes and the combat of crime to keep Nigerians safe.
He added, “It is part of our communal support and building the bridges that connect us in making sure that the country is in peace and tranquillity.”
He promised to continue to partner with the Nigeria Police Force in making sure that the entire nation enjoys maximum security of lives and properties.
Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations, Abdulmajid Ali applauded Innoson Manufacturing Company for the ‘kind gesture’ and promised the judicious use of the vehicles.
He said, “On behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu, I want to appreciate your amiable company for the important gift. Let me assure you of judicious use of the vehicles in fighting criminality.
These are the kind of vehicles for Nigerian roads. It is rugged with Nigerian content.”
Ali promised to partner and patronize Innoson Motors in fighting insurgents.
