Renowned Indian Film actor and producer, Amitabh Bachchan has announced that he has tested positive to COVID-19.
The 77-year-old actor who gained popularity in the 70s with films as Sholay, Zanjeer, Deewaar and was dubbed India’s angry young man for his on-screen roles in Bollywood says in a Facebook post: “This evening I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”
The post has generated over 166, 000 reactions and 50, 000 comments in less than one hour.
Amitabh’s net worth presently stands at $400million.
He had received the Knight of the Legion of Honour from the Government of France and he is known as the Star of the Millennium.
