Imo State governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, has appointed retired Commissioner of Police (CP) Dan Nkem Okoro as his Special Adviser on Security.
Okoro who retired as the CP in charge of Police Anti-Fraud Unit, Alagbon, Lagos, is expected to assist the governor in fine-tuning policies and programmes that would help in strengthening security in the state.
Known as one of the most celebrated police detectives in Nigeria, Okoro would also work to end violent crimes, kidnapping and other security threats in the oil-producing state.
