Reprieve may soon come the way of the embattled convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore, who has been in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), following his inability to meet the terms of the bail granted him by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
President of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, today said he was considering standing surety for the detained activist.
Suleman disclosed this in a tweet via his verified handle, @APOSTLESULEMAN.
Suleman said he was worried that no one had offered to stand surety for Sowore, probably because he had hurt a lot of people, himself inclusive, in the past.
Suleman however said that as a Christian, he has chosen not to dwell on Sowore’s past offences, rather, do what Jesus Christ would have done in a similar situation.
His tweet reads: “Am really worried that nobody is ready to stand surety for @YeleSowore..yes he has hurt alot of people, me inclusive. But do we focus on that and let his rot where he is even if he caused it.in a situation like this what will christ do?am ‘considering’ standing bail for him..”
