Ikoyi Collapsed Building: Gospel Artiste, Yinka Alaseyori, Reacts to Trending Video

Femi Ashekun/

Popular gospel artiste, Yinka Alaseyori, has reacted to a trending video of herself and her band singing at the top floor of the 21-storey building that collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday.

The undated video shows Alaseyori singing Christian worship songs alongside the developer of the property, tagged 360 Degrees, Femi Osibona, and a few others.

In a post on her verified Instagram page this morning, Alaseyori allayed fears about her safety, noting that the video was from her last visit to the site of the building some time ago.

She said that she was not present at the site when the building collapsed.

She thanked her fans for their concerns and urged them to pray that more people would be rescued alive from the rubble.
