An announcement by Ikeja Electric has sparked controversy among electricity consumers in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial honeypot.
The company announced that it has signed a Bilateral Power Agreement with Maryland Crescent/Aderibigbe Shitta Street Residents Association.
Going by the agreement, Residents of the community would start to enjoy up to 24 hours of power supply daily, says a post on Ikeja Electric’s Twitter handle that has drawn various reactions from Nigerians.
