Fifty-one police officers have received new assignments today as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, moves to further strengthen police operations.
Police authorities told NewsmakersNG that the 51 officers are in the ASP-CSP cadre.
The list signed by the Force Secretary, AIG Abdul Bube, included the following names and postings: CSP Gottoh Blessing posted from Bayelsa State to Oyo State; CSP Idiong Martha from Lagos to Delta; CSP Bala Umar – Yobe to Kaduna; SP Ukachukwu Chimeze – FCID to DTS; SP Mu’azu Isa – Taraba to Kogi; SP Eya Alfred Ejiofor – Kogi to Enugu; SP Daniyan Meshachi – Ondo to Ports Authority Police, in Lagos; SP Abdulmajid Oyewumi – Sokoto to Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and SP Nwafor Ernest Anayo from the IGP Monitoring Unit to DoPs, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Also on the list are: DSP Ifeanyi S. Osuji – Rivers State to Anambra State; DSP Fatoberu Oyekanmi- Enugu to Ogun; DSP Aina Lawrence B. – Kebbi to Oyo; DSP Obiazikworuken Samuel- Oyo to Special Fraud Unit, Lagos; DSP Komonibo Katherine – FCT to Rivers, DSP Adeoye Rasaq- Ogun to Lagos, and DSP Wowo Kingdom – Zamfara to Zone 5.
