Police authorities have posted AIG Adeleke Adeyinka Bode, mni, as the new helmsman at Zone ‘2’ Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos.
NewsmakersNG learned that AIG Adeleke will replace AIG Johnson Babatunde Kokumo who is moving to the next rank.
Kokumo has spent six months at Zone 2 since he took over from retired AIG Ahmed Iliyasu in May.
According to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Alkali Baba, the posting takes immediate effect.
Before his new posting, Adeleke served as the AIG in charge of Zone 9, Umuahia, comprising, Abia, Imo, and Ebonyi states. He had also served as Commissioner of Police in Kebbi State among other formations across Nigeria.
