The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has deployed a new commissioner of police (CP) in Ondo State.
He is CP Bolaji Salami, the erstwhile personal staff officer (PSO) to the Chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC), Alhaji Musiliu Smith.
CP Salami who once manned the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Yaba and Ikotun Divisional Headquarters of Police in Lagos also served as Personal Assistant to Alhaji Smith between 1999 and 2002 when the PSC Chairman was the IGP.
Salami’s predecessor, CP Andie Undie, has been redeployed to the Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja.
