Exactly one year after he conferred a posthumous national honour of Grand Commander of Federal Republic (GCFR) on the winner of the annulled June 12, 1993, presidential election, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola, President Muhammadu Buhari today went further to name the National Stadium in Abuja after the late hero of democracy.
Buhari made the announcement while delivering his speech on the celebration of June 12, which has now been legally recognised by the Federal Government as Democracy Day, at the Eagles Square, Abuja today.
