Hoodlums in their hundreds today unleashed terror on residents of Elekuro suburb of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, leaving one person dead and several others injured.
National President of Soludero Hunters Association, Oba Wahab Ajijola-Anabi, disclosed this in Ibadan.
He said the violence has spread to adjoining areas such as Labo, Orita Aperin, Kosodo and Oranyan areas of Ibadan where they
He said the rampaging hoodlums used weapons such as animal bones, bottles, pistols, nails, and clubs to attack helpless residents.
“A man was killed at Kosodo area. He was stabbed to death. They were about 700 hoodlums invited from neighbouring streets. They used pistols, animal bones, bottles and clubs to stab and wound people,” Ajijola-Anabi said.
