When he was asked today whether he would accept the results if he loses the forthcoming Presidential election, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar gave one condition.
He said, “If the elections are adjudged to be free, fair and credible, why not. I’ve lost election before and I’ve admitted.”
The question came up during a programme televised live on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), The Candidates, where the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari had once appeared and asked the same question.
Buhari’s answer then was that there was no way he could lose the election.
