A husband and wife who were deputy commissioners of police have been elevated to the next rank as police authorities announce the promotion of 17 officers.
Kehinde Longe and Yetunde Longe were found worthy of the rank in the latest promotions by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba.
Kehinde Patrick Longe once served as the DCP in charge of operations in Oyo State, while his wife held forth at the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Panti, in Lagos before they were given other assignments.
Also elevated are Gabriel Garba, Tajudeen Akinwale Abbas, Rex Dundun, Ambrose Onah, Olatoye Durosinmi, Ndu Innocent, Josephine Ayansinti, Rhoda Olotu, Godwin Aghaulor, Etim Ekot, Stanley Kanayo, Chukwu Ude, Charles Mozie, Tajudeen Bakare, Samuel Olukayode, Charles Ifeatu, and Olaleye Faleye.
