APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Pop Star, Wizkid, have joined hundreds of sympathisers mourning the tragic death of the son of popular Nigerian singer, Davido, in a swimming pool accident at his Banana Island home in Lagos.
Tinubu posted on his Twitter handle today: “Oluremi and I send our heartfelt and deepest condolences to David, Chioma, and the entire Adeleke family over the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May the Lord grant them the fortitude and strength to deal with this painful tragedy.”
In a rare show of empathy, Wizkid mourned Davido’s son, Ifeanyi by deleting his album promotional tweet and cancelling his forthcoming new album release.
Someone reacted to the singer’s gesture: “He’s a father too. I’m sure he can understand the loss. It hits really deep.”
