The police in Lagos have told how Nemesis quickly caught up with two tenants who literally skinned their landlord for his hide.

According to the police, the suspects identified as 38-year-old Daniel Isaac and Emmanuel Chukwu, 36, stole their landlord’s Toyota Camry after they murdered him and dumped his body in a Well inside the man’s compound at Owodun Street, in Ikotun.

But the suspected killers didn’t get far as they were stopped by vigilant policemen who noticed the reckless way in which the Toyota Camry was being driven.

Lagos State police spokesman, DSP Bala Elkana told Newsmakers that the policemen from Iba Division who were on Stop and Search duty intercepted the escaping suspects at about 5 pm on July 24, 2019, at First Gate, Agboroko area of Iba in Lagos.

In a statement issued today, Elkana says: “Further investigation revealed that the first suspect, Daniel Isaac killed his Landlord Don Able ‘m’ 50 years old from Rivers State and dumped the corpse in a well, inside his compound at Owodun Street area, Ikotun. The suspect was escaping with the robbed vehicle of the deceased along with his accomplice Emmanuel Chukwu when they were intercepted. Their intentions were to go and sell the car. They confessed to the Commission of the Crime. Homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba are investigating the case. Suspects will be charged to Court.”
